Sustainable coffee roasting for Joh. Johannson
Joh. Johannson's coffee processing plant in Vestby, Norway is one of the most energy-efficient in the industry and has achieved both BREEAM Excellent certification and energy independence. The project was carried out between 2016 and 2020 with a focus on sustainable solutions that reduce energy consumption and environmental footprint.
The project was delivered by SustEvo personnel under employment at Rambøll with BREEAM NOR specifications linked to ENE 04, MAN 01 and ENE 01. Through innovative energy solutions and targeted measures, the facility has become a model for modern, sustainable food production in Norway.
