Filipstad Brygge

Filipstad Brygge 1 (Oslo): 72% Energy Reduction in Phase 1. Storebrand's sustainable office upgrade.

Filipstad Brygge 1 (FB1) is an office complex consisting of five buildings, owned by Storebrand, located in one of Oslo's most attractive areas. With a total building stock of 65,000 m², the project aims to reduce energy costs, cut emissions and eliminate the need for carbon credits. The upgrade also strengthens access to green financing, increases the property's future resale value, reduces the risk of depreciation and improves the buildings' sustainability profile.

The first phase of the project has been completed in Filipstad Brygge 1A, while work on FB1B is ongoing. Overall, the project aims to reduce energy requirements by 60%, and already in the first phase, consumption has been reduced by an impressive 72% (3.8 GWh), while the building has achieved energy class A.

The upgrade shows how targeted measures can provide significant environmental and economic benefits.
