Transition from an oil-fired boiler to an air-to-water heat pump, triggering Enova support.
The assignment
Pynten housing cooperative wanted to phase out the old oil boiler and find a heating solution that provides stable costs over time. SustEvo reviewed the building stock, sized the new system, and handled the application process with Enova.
The result
An air-to-water heat pump now covers the majority of the heating, with electric peak-load backup. Operating costs have been reduced, CO2 emissions from heating are effectively eliminated, and the project secured Enova support that significantly shortened the payback period.
