Conversion from oil-fired boiler to air-to-water heat pump with Enova funding secured.
The assignment
Pynten housing cooperative wanted to phase out the old oil boiler and find a heating solution that provides stable costs over time. SustEvo reviewed the building stock, sized the new system and handled the application process with Enova.
The result
An air-to-water heat pump now covers the majority of the heating demand, with electric backup for peak loads. Operating costs have been reduced, CO2 emissions from heating are effectively eliminated, and the project secured Enova funding that significantly shortened the payback period.
