The assignment
Pynten Housing Cooperative sought to retire the old oil boiler and adopt a heating solution with stable costs over time. SustEvo reviewed the building stock, sized the new system, and managed the application process with Enova.
The result
An air-to-water heat pump now covers the majority of the heating demand, with electric backup for peak loads. Operating costs are lower, CO2 emissions from heating are effectively eliminated, and Enova funding significantly shortened the payback period.
