The assignment
Joh. Johannson Kaffe planned a new coffee factory in Vestby, aiming for high production quality and strong environmental performance. SustEvo supported the design, focusing on an energy-efficient process, heat recovery and BREEAM documentation.
The result
The factory recovers heat from the burner and cooling processes to cover a large share of its own heating demand. The building is certified BREEAM Excellent, and the operations team now has a facility that is simpler to run day to day.
