The assignment
CAE Oslo needed to upgrade heating and cooling for the training and simulator building at Gardermoen. Operational reliability was critical, and the refrigerant had to remain viable as regulations tighten.
The result
Propane heat pumps now provide heating and cooling with a natural refrigerant and very low GWP. The solution is resilient to upcoming F-gas requirements and delivers better energy performance than the previous installation.
