DNV Høvik
Seawater heat‑pump solution at DNV’s headquarters providing low‑carbon heating and free cooling.
The assignment
DNV’s headquarters at Høvik set out to retire fossil peak‑load heating and adopt a reliable, low‑emission energy system. SustEvo engineered a seawater heat‑pump solution that supplies both heating and cooling, and integrated the delivery with the existing technical systems.
The result
The system is in operation, delivering stable heating and free cooling from the fjord. Operations are simpler, emissions from heating are effectively eliminated, and normal cooling demand is met without conventional chillers.
