DNV Høvik
Installed a seawater heat pump solution at DNV's headquarters for sustainable heating and cooling.
The assignment
DNV's headquarters at Høvik needed to phase out fossil peak‑load heating and adopt a robust, low‑emission energy solution. SustEvo designed a seawater heat pump system that covers both heating and cooling, and coordinated the delivery with the existing technical installations.
The result
The system is in operation and provides stable heating and free cooling from the fjord. Operations have been simplified, emissions from heating are effectively eliminated, and the cooling demand is met without conventional chillers during normal operation.
