DNV Høvik
Installed a seawater heat pump solution at DNV's headquarters for sustainable heating and cooling.
The assignment
DNV's headquarters at Høvik needed to move away from fossil peak-load to a robust, low-emission energy solution. SustEvo designed a seawater heat-pump solution that covers both heating and cooling, and coordinated the delivery with the existing technical installations.
The result
The plant is operational and delivers stable heating and free cooling from the fjord. Operation is simplified, emissions from heating are effectively eliminated, and the cooling demand is met without conventional chillers during normal operation.
