New energy mapping rules for large enterprises

The government has announced amendments to the energy mapping regulation for large companies. The scope is broadened, bringing more companies under the requirement to systematically review energy use and identify cost‑effective measures.

Companies with an ISO 50001‑certified energy management system will largely meet the documentation requirements. Others must complete the mapping by the new deadline and report the results.
